General Rules:

a) X-Class e) Sportsman A
b) Comp B f) Stock 8 cyl.
c) Comp A g) Stock 4&6 cyl
d) Sportsman B

Racing Etiquette:
1) Have your vehicle ready to race when it has been teched in.
2) Know whom you follow in the line up and be ready to race when your turn comes around.
3) Know what class your vehicle runs. There is NO pride in cheating. When you cheat you only cheat yourself of knowing whether you are capable of beating a competitive vehicle. Cheating also belittles you by showing everyone that you don’t feel that you are able to compete in your own class.
4) Drivers must adhere to a 5 mph speed limit in the parking and staging areas.
5) ABSOLUTELY NO PIT RACING: this will be strictly enforced. If you lose your temper you may lose your racing privileges.
6) Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated.
7) Know the rules, know the officials, be courteous. We are all out here because we enjoy racing. If you have a problem or protest, handle it with courtesy and consideration.
Protests:
Minor protests (tire size, tire type, safety equipment, etc.) can be made to the tech inspector by any driver against any other vehicle in their class. The protest must be made before that class has begun racing. The tech inspector will make a ruling and their decision is final. The tech inspector may opt to put the protested vehicle in another class or bar it from racing that day.
Any driver may protest engine, vehicle weight, or equipment of any vehicle in their class. Protest must be immediately after their races are over. A $100 fee must be given to the designated Big Al’s representative, and both parties will be checked. If the engine is found legal for the class the protester will pay for reassembly parts (gaskets/fluids/etc.) If the engine is deemed illegal for the class the driver will forfeit all awards, including trophies and cash prizes. The driver will also be barred from the rest of the current years race season. If a driver refuses to “tear down” they will be deemed illegal and all penalties will be applied.
